When I saw I had 60 pictures to share from the last month, I thought I better save Christmas break celebrations for another post. We started out heading right to Rock Hill after the last day of school, where we met the Moores and enjoyed lots of food, family, and games.
Guess the Christmas carol with Mimi
About to start a White Elephant with the kids, which worked out pretty well for everyone, particularly once Allie stole the lotion and lip gloss from Joshua. :)
Michigan Rummy is a classic we always used to play with my dad's side of the family and it was fun to rev that back up again.
We came home from SC and headed off an hour later for our China group Christmas party. So thankful for this group of my close mom friends and their wonderful families that my family loves too! We did a lot of family games-- trivia, Charades, nativity craft, and white elephant.
Charades: Mary, Joseph, and Baby Jesus
Such a fun time together before we split ways to celebrate with family.
The next night, we gathered at Nanny and Pa's for Christmas dinner....
Stacy put together some minute to win it games.
Allie's first time sitting at the kid table.
The whole crew!
On Christmas Eve, we rekindled our old tradition of gathering with the Stewarts for ornament making and cookie decorating. They've come a long way since we started this tradition!!
Christmas Eve service, then Matt headed to work and kids and I drove around looking at lights.
Christmas morning! Matt got home from work and we did Christmas breakfast and gifts. This year we also read a new Christmas book called Mary's First Christmas that told the story of Jesus' birth from Mary's perspective.
Gray was thrilled to get his long awaited iPod and get connected with his friends, setting up lots of individual ringtones that were chiming through the house. :)
Allie loved her books on tape and Frozen II soundtrack.
Boys ready for being on the lacrosse team together again this Spring!
Matt's new coat he picked out. And a tiny photo bomber.
Julia thrilled to get a new backpack
Allie has worn her Elsa dress almost nonstop.
And already freezing people.
Joshua got a fun new game called Klask.
Joshua helping Gray set up his ipod.
Julia wore her new clothes, boots, and sometimes backpack around all day. Speaking of Julia, our next event is her 10th birthday! She's excited to celebrate this weekend!!
